As the year 2023 drew to a close, puzzle and riddle game enthusiasts in the United Kingdom were actively engaging with a variety of apps on their Android devices. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into how the top five games in this category performed during the fourth quarter.

Family Tree! - Logic Puzzles, published by Lion Studios Plus, saw a peak in downloads in early October, reaching nearly 21K, before experiencing a gradual decline to around 5K by the year's end. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 28K and descending to 17K. Revenue also followed a downward trajectory, from $975 to $391.

Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles by Unico Studio maintained a steady performance with downloads fluctuating between 11K and 16K. The game's weekly active users remained robust, starting the quarter at around 74K and soaring to almost 90K by the last week of December. Revenue saw a notable increase during the same period, growing from $212 to $411.

Matchingham Games' UK-based Braindom: Brain Games Test experienced an initial spike in downloads, reaching over 11K in mid-October, then dipped to around 5K before climbing back up to 15K. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at over 23K in December. The revenue for Braindom rose from $143 to $176.

The newer entry, Brain Test 4: Tricky Friends, also from Unico Studio, showed an upward trend in both downloads and weekly active users towards the end of the quarter, with downloads jumping from 3K to 9K and active users escalating from 24K to 37K. Revenue nearly tripled, starting at $72 and ending at $194.

Lastly, Flashback: Tricky Fun Riddles by Radiant Cat Studio saw its downloads vary, with a notable increase to around 7K in early December. Weekly active users peaked at nearly 20K in November and slightly decreased to 19K by Christmas. Revenue showed a steady increase, starting at $53 and slightly rising to $104 by the quarter's end.
